PublicSquare was launched originally as a business directory to support American small business. It has since evolved into a full blown marketplace and expanded to multiple divisions to include payment processing, credit, and charitable giving. PublicSquare.com has always been known as the marketplace but has needed to evolve to encompass all divisions for merchant offerings.
After starting with a deep dive with all major stakeholders across the various company divisions, we began mapping the core user needs moving from a marketplace to a B2B website for merchants. We began crafting the narrative for the site along with the new information architecture and linking strategy. This led to full unification of design systems and aesthetics used on this site and their Impact website.
