
Upright is a shortform vertical video streaming app focused on dramas and family content. It is a direct competitor to apps like DramaBox or ReelShort. The goal was to craft an app that appeals to current video consumption behavior of sub-2 minute episodes. Integration of gamification and monetization is key to get the members to stick around and incentivize them to watch more.
I worked through the overall app app strategy for investors when it came to infrastructure needed, costs, and features members needed at a go-to-market stage. Go-to-market strategy was for a US/UK rollout prior to a select global rollout. I led overall MVP design direction and product management.
